Honestly, if it wasn't for the spice and this being a buddy read I may not have finished it. Most characters felt a little lackluster I didn't love the writing style.
I was most interested in two of the characters and would've gladly sacrificed quite a bit of other content to be able to get more of them.
All that said, the concept was entertaining and I'm excited to see how this author evolves.
