Being Me by Lisa Renee Jones

5.0

When a book has me talking out loud to myself, you know it’s good. I was saying things like, “That was terrifying” or “Holy shit that was hot”. Seriously, I was having entire conversations with myself.

I cannot get enough of the over protective, alpha male. This book has TWO! Mark, Sara’s boss, is sort of an asshole, but a hot one. The dance he and Sara do had me kind of wanting her to try him out, if you know what I mean. Mark has a way of being very direct and at the same time talks in riddles.

Chris is Sara’s hot-as-fuck artist boyfriend. He has such a dirty mouth, but at the same time says some of the sweetest things. They have this deep connection that Ms. Jones does a wonderful job of making you feel so intensely. The sex in this book is SEARING! It’s written in such a descriptive way that I could almost feel all the things being described.

The first book left us with a frightening cliffhanger. This book solves all the mystery with Rebecca and the journals. There is a book 3, Revealing Us, and is more of Chris and Sara’s story.
