Yep. Those all the feels I had for the book in order....well mostly in order anyways.
Going in I really really liked the aspect and premise of the book ~ REVENGE.
But in the first 50 pages, I get an almost middle grade-esque book element and writing style.....and then it basically goes down hill from there.....down....down...down.....sinking.....drowning.......dead.
WUT.
I mean this book in NO WAY is a middle grade due to some of the content inside but still.....
It was WAYYYY TO FAST and not even in pacing style but unrealistically speaking/reading wise.
The writing...LOL the writing was somewhat jumpy and crude. Made the story almost a middle grade book. Like the way it was written WAS FOR MIDDLE GRADE READERS............. - ___ -
The structure was weird too. I didn't like it. Too cluttered.
The characters......I thought the main character was supposed to be bad ass....
nope.
All I got was a bitter girl who was angry and stupid.
Yes she made dumb choices.....rolled my eyes a couple times.
The romance aspect of this book....WTF.
so dumb.
really. and super unrealistic.

This book is supposed to be revenge themed but all I got was a little taste of it. Too much of the book spent way too much time talking about it but never actually going through with it.
Seriously.
I thought it was going to be like the TV show Revenge, which is AWESOME BTW.....but NOT EVEN.
The main character ditched the main idea of her revenge plot and came up with a new one at the end which does happen i get it, but I hated it in this case because, normally It would have been fine because situation changes happens to characters in books that cause a change of plans, but in this case, the book set up THAT ORIGINAL PLAN AND KEPT TALKING ABOUT IT and it never happened. We get new change of plans 20 pages towards the end. That's it.
WTF.......
Overall, I really could have wished this book was better written and more realistically. Everything happened way to fast for my liking and really really wished it lived up to the theme of the book - REVENGE.
Barely anything about revenge if you asked me.
