NeuroTribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity by Steve Silberman

Did not finish book. Stopped at 65%.
It was just too frustrating to read. I had gone into the book with different expectations. I didn't expect a history book, and I ESPECIALLY didn't expect the history about how horribly treated autistic people were. I get that it's not something we shouldn't recognize; we shouldn't hide from our past, even the awful parts of it. However, the vivid details about how terrible autistic kids and adults were mistreated was just too much for me, so I had to stop.
