Dear Life was not what I expected in any way shape or form. It was an interesting read. We start out seeing all these different people and the things going on in their lives and then some tragedies that hit for some of them. Dear Life is a story about people who are learning to live again, through a program run out of a church. The program is called 'Dear Life' and that is where it gets interesting. We follow Daisy, Carter, Hollyn, and Jace as they work through the program, having to write letters. Who do they write the letters to? Or what do they write the letters to? Reading what these people write, really pulls at your emotions. Some of them you may even relate to at times, especially Carter's first letter. I can think of times I have felt like that. Watching how four different people, their lives, their experiences, and their desires come to life and intermingle is a treat. It is definitely worth the read. This book was a really nice beginning of the year book to read for me. It made me think about things in my own life that I would change if I could in some areas and grateful for things in my life in others. Read it and enjoy it.
