Everything He Couldn't by Harlow James

4.0

What a wonderful story that has loss, grief, forgiveness and love.

Walker is a sweet problem solving, cinnamon roll of a man, who has a dirty mouth. His guilt he feels for the past is a burden he carries around.

“…make me realize that the girl I’d always been around but never really noticed was actually a knockout—strong, smart, determined, and freaking beautiful. Gorgeous. All the wet dream adjectives combined.”

Evelyn is a strong single mother who never asks for help and believes she has no one to help her. Evelyn is like most single moms out there just trying to survive. Unexpected problems prove that she can take help and survive.

‘Like the moon, we must go through phases of emptiness to feel full again. So remember, you do not have to be whole in order to shine.’”

I did enjoy this book with Walker and Evelyn’s journey. It was full of angst, happiness, some hard times, and a HEA.

I did read this as an ARC for my honest review.
