Atonement by Ian McEwan
3.0
It was a sad story. A story of love being dictated and ended so abruptly because of a misinterpretation.
The first part of the book was a fun to read, it was a page turner, filled with elaborate description of events. Indeed, a very comprehensive narration. However Part 2 and Part 3 was kind off dragging for me. McEwan was able to tell the story well, with all the details and such but it just didn't able to capture the interest as it had before. It took me a long time to finish the book. If I hadn't watched the movie before, I would have never finished it.
