The Elephant Tree by R.D. Ronald
4.0

This story largely revolves around Scott and his drug life. There are some twist, turns, and secrets that start to be revealed. Scott who wants to get out of the small drug deal lifestyle but not entirely sure how gets involved with Angela (a drug dealers daughter). Scott doesn't have the best relationship with his brother Jack, the trueness of The Elephant Tree I personally feel comes from the relationship between the two brothers, which comes full circle at the end of the book. Mostly, things are wrapped up (some questions are not answered) although its left open for a possible sequel if the R.D. Ronald wanted to elaborate on some points I won't mention as not to spoil anything for readers.

I would give this book a 3.5 star rating because it was so repetitive on drugs as part of a daily routine lifestyle and I felt like it was overly descriptive starting to lose my interest a bit. I felt like the story had the most action the last 30% of the read which I enjoyed and flew through! Overall it was a good read.
