Snarky realistic YA.

Picked this up hoping for hilarity and hijinks - read the blurb about being invited to write a column in the school newspaper based on a mistake. And it didn't quite check the comedy boxes I was looking for*. I never considered dropping it very seriously, but I was frustrated that they didn't make more of the column aspect of the story. The columns themselves are used more as introductions to chapters that are fairly mild day-in-the-life-from-a-snarky-teenagers-perspective.

It's not bad, if that tone is what you want. I'm trying to remember if there was a climax.

*I ended up going with [b: A Bad Day for Voodoo|12233529|A Bad Day For Voodoo|Jeff Strand|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1312169750s/12233529.jpg|17207351] in this slot.
