Tired of being treated so badly Declan decides to leave his latest boyfriend. Throwing everything that was important to him into the car he heads away from the city and the man he thought he loved. It may have not been the best idea, but it was the only one that Declan had at the moment. When the car breaks down in the middle on no where Declan has no choice but to look for help. He never expected it to be in a man named Geir. Could this stoic man be the one to help Declan in more than one way? Will he tire of Declan and his wants like everyone else before him or has Declan truly found the man of his dreams?
I really enjoyed Geir and Declan. Their story is both sweet and hot. Declan is one bundle of energy and Geir is the total opposite but the two soon find that each may be just what the other needs. I loved seeing the two work through their relationship and figure out what they each needed in it. As the two work through their own emotions we are also introduced to other shifters. Declan and Geir find that not only are their hearts on the line but also their lives. This story is much more than just a romance it shows us the importance of trust and friendship as well as love. The author weaves an engaging tale in a magical world. I was quickly pulled immersed into the story and loved all the characters. I cannot wait to see what happens next in this world.
