Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder

This book has no plot. Nothing. There’s an attempt at something resembling a plot but it comes too late to even bother about. If Gaarder wanted to write an accessible philosophy textbook for teenagers, why didn’t he just do it? There was too much trying to be clever and not enough actual story. I had read that it really picked up near the end but for me it just got worse... hallucinating Disney character to make a point? Give me a break!
