I saw Edgerunners, I don't know why I expected

anyone to get out of here safely

. Still, Kosik is a powerhouse of a writer; every character in the city has their own distinct motivations and priorities, and sometimes those line up in a very heartwarming way and sometimes they clash to devastating effect.
