This was very intriguing and interesting but my goodness, did it make my brain hurt. Most of the science bits went way over my head, but I did my best to understand as much as possible. I think the translation by Ken Liu was done very well, and I appreciated his little footnotes with explanations about Chinese history and culture. All in all a tough read but I’m glad I read it. I don’t think I will continue the rest of the books, but I will check out the tv show (and maybe that will help me understand a bit more of the things I didn’t grasp from the book…)
