First, I loved this book! As someone who went through medical school, I was really happy to see the author get it right in terms of second year and what medical school is like - even though it wasn’t even close to being a central focus of the book. But more than that, I loved the relationship that bloomed between Liam and Avery once they started to put their weapons down. The banter and smoldering looks were perfect, and Liam’s protectiveness was dreamy.
Make sure to check content warnings, because this one isn’t all sunshine, rainbows, and butterflies - but the way that each characters trauma was handled was lovely in it’s own right!
