A good look at a deaf football teams quest for a championship. Mr. Fuller not only recounts the stories of the coaches and players, but also offers some fascinating background history & science on deafness and deaf culture, which helps the reader understand why this team had such a unique advantage against all-hearing teams. The prose could be a bit plain at times, but this was a satisfying read overall.
