The world-building is beautiful. I don't know much about Hades and Persephone so I'm just taking the story as the author offers. If you like erotica and Hades/Persephone, I don't know why you wouldn't like this book. It has 14 scenes in 488 pages. Each scene goes for about 4 pages. However, the sexy scenes are extremely unbalanced with 11 scenes in the first half and only 3 scenes in the second half of the book. I personally enjoyed this book up to about page 400 and I don't like how they pull the rug out from Hades and poo-poo his character just to elevate Persephone. There are better ways to make the FMC shine than to dump on the MMC. UGH. I want to read the next book in the series but I am concerned it will be a "woman power" type and make Hades a simp.
