I preferred the first volume's art (love Fiona Staples); the art here is wonderful and great too but just not my favorite style.
I loved little tidbits of Veronica's character development. I cried @ the water fountain part of Archie's parents' story. I also thought the volume was funny, but I don't think the story progressed as much as I would've liked it to.
