I could write 10 pages on why this book is terrible, but I’ll try and stick with a few key points:
1. Flat and predictable characters: I found the characters of this book to be one-dimensional, lacking depth and complexity. The protagonists and supporting characters came across as unrealistic, making it difficult for me to become emotionally invested in their stories.
2. Weak and contrived plot: The plot is formulaic and relies heavily on clichés and contrivances. The story follows a predictable pattern without offering any unique or original twists, making it less engaging for someone seeking a fresh narrative.
3. Lack of thematic depth: I felt that the book fails to explore complex themes or ideas in a meaningful way. The story lacks depth, offering a superficial examination of its subject matter and failing to provoke thoughts or stimulate intellectual engagement.
