The premise is very different from the rest of the odd Thomas novels. Less paranormal & more sci-fi. The story progressed slowly and the ending was anti climactic. Josie’s chapter about

being in love with Odd

made me very uncomfortable and proved to be entirely unnecessary to the plot. There were lots of ideas that are outdated and made it hard to read. Disappointed
