something about Stephen King that i really can't rock with is the very detailed descriptions of young women's naked bodies. there's something just so icky to me about a grown man writing about that.
the whole book is even more tragic than any of the movie versions (my favorite being the 1976 adaptation), which just made me so much sadder than watching the movie. i wasn't expecting the formatting to be what it was, so it was interesting reading this from the perspective of someone putting together documents and sources.
i did think it was really cool that the book went into greater detail about what Carrie did after the blood got dumped onto her and that we see her destroying the whole town
