I can see the artistry woven into every line of this book. It made me reflect on a lot of things and has some beautiful observations about the human nature. But at the same time this book was extremely hard to get through. There were many metaphors and passages that I just didn’t understand so my enjoyment while reading was pretty low. I think of this book as a piece of art. It’s feelings and short impressions rather than a comprehensives story. I think my first mistake when starting this was perceiving it as a common novel and trying to follow the plot when really there is none. This book is all about feeling and getting lost in the moment.
