I've always been skeptical of this book. Anyone with a dog knows that sometimes it's tough, but mostly, it's wonderful. I never really thought that this book could offer me much. It seemed to sentimental.
And then this morning, it was sitting on the counter at the Bookshop, waiting to be put away. I opened the first page to take a look, accidentally read it. And 3 hours later, I was in tears in the middle of the Bookshop.
This book offers that emotion that comes with owning a dog. It shows this way into life, that non dog owners just don't get. I think that I'm now going to have to buy several copies and pass them along. Not many books move me to tears. And this one did.
