the story progresses at such a perfect rate. it’s detailed and so well written… i mean of course, it’s colleen. the story was dark and sad yet hopeful and beautiful. the anticipation that came with reading was so intense. you could feel every feeling the characters were feeling, you could empathize with each character, you could challenge yourself with decisions. one of my favorite stories i’ve read this year!
