The Chemistry of Death by Simon Beckett
3.5
dark mysterious tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: No
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

David Hunter is a bit of a bland main character, the forensic anthropology stuff was interesting but didn't really play that big of a role in the plot and the unmasking of the killer. Also the main plotwist was kinda predictable. That aside "The Chemistry of Death" was overall a solid and enjoyable thriller with an intense and gripping finale.
