All I Know by Tamara Lush
3.0

ALL I KNOW is a quick and easy read with minimal angst and a cinnamon roll hero who is devoted to the woman he loves. I really enjoyed Damien and how he wasn't afraid to show affection for Kate. While they haven't seen each other in years, they immediately fall into their old friendship and this helped move the relationship along faster. Kate was also a really enjoyable heroine and though life has given her some knocks, she's still upbeat and not afraid to go after what she wants. The chemistry is great between Damien and Kate and I liked that they don't immediately fall into bed with each other.

Per the book description, Damien proposes to Kate in order to give her health insurance but I wish this had occurred earlier in the story. Instead, Kate and Damien pretty much develop a full relationship before deciding to get married; I guess I was hoping for more tension, the kind that usually comes from a marriage of convenience. While this does end with an HEA it still felt a bit unresolved because of Damien's impending contract work in Syria. Not truly a cliffhanger but not a completely solid ending either though the author does indicate at the end that there will be more of Kate and Damien's story in a future book.
