The Dunwich Horror And Other Stories by H.P. Lovecraft

3.0

this is my first time reading Lovecraft. I can understand why people say he's the father of modern horror. However, I was a little disappointed. The prose was a bit of a slog. My favorite out of these was The Whisper in the Darkness, as I felt closest to the characters here and I didn't feel the story lag, whereas the others, especially The Shadow Out of Time, the story tended to lag in some spots.
Not sure after these if I'd read Lovecraft again, but now I can at least say I have.
