This was an enjoyable read. I really liked the setting in Singapore, and it really made me want to visit. The plot was interesting, and I loved the 'love potion' part of the story. The Love story is very cute, but it felt very insta-lovey in the beginning.
As a Asian-European women, I relate a lot with feeling like an outsider within Asian cultures. (Not that Lindsay is asian, but I related a lot to the estrangement that she felt). I would definitely recommend this to people who want to read more contemporary books set in Asia.
