Jennette McCurdy - IMDb

I'm glad my mom died. Whenever Icarly first came out I wasn't a big fan nothing instead me less than some teenage kids with a webcam show. with that being said I loved the Sam Pucket. So when Jennette McCurdy came out with this book I had to get my hands on it. & honestly, I couldn't be happier that I did.

So Jennette became an actor at the age of six years old. She states in the book that she never wanted to be one. She goes on to explain how she got to be where she is today by her mother she talks about how her mother was forcing her to be an actor so that she could support her family with the money she made. it is very hard to know that a mother would be so curl to her own child someone who was clearly trying to please her.
Going in I thought it was going to be a "pleasant" read I think because I've watched her on Icarly and she looked like she was having the best time. that is the thing we think about because the person is on tv we think they have an awesome life. we don't see the pain behind the tv or movie. we see the act they want us to see. she goes on to talk of her childhood living paycheck to paycheck. How she wasn't able to shower on her own. She goes on to explain how she went from relationship to relationship. she even goes on to explain how she came to have bulimia.

5 stars all around even though the middle was a little boring.
