I really liked most of this book. Amazing that Oyeyemi wrote it when she was so young! I found the ending confusing and lacking resolution. Sometimes this can be a useful device, but in this case it felt unfulfilling and disappointing. I liked the mythology and twin stuff, but felt that some of the plot was inconsistent. Especially Dr. McKenzie - he didn't act like a psychologist and it felt like his character removed some of the believability of it all.
