wow. these poems were filled with so much beauty and sorrow, and I loved how those emotions interacted and flowed in and out of each other. Some of my favorite quotes : “Your dress waving in the wind, this is the only flag I love”; “We ought to accept that no soldier has ever returned from war alive”; “And nothing is more agonizing than having to embrace your hell, to kiss it”; “It is a strange music, death, you stand up and dance so smoothly and softly, that nobody can see you any longer.”
