Reading Under the Covers

Do you ever read a book that is so emotional and raw, and you just ugly cry? Well that is what happened to me when reading this book. I ugly cried so badly.

This book just got to me. What bad things happen when you make stupid choices? This is what this book is about. I am not going to lie here, I have been out plenty of times drinking and got in a car with someone else who was drinking. Did I ever stop to think about what the consequences were? Of course not, no one does.

But this is what happens to Lena. She makes a bad decision. Peer pressure. It happens to everyone. And she makes a bad decision with serious consequences

This book was so good. I loved how emotionally raw it was. Jennifer wasn’t holding anything back and that is what I just loved more about it. It just explored topics that no one actually talks about.

It was such a good standalone novel and I can’t wait to read other stories of hers.
