I didn't quite get this one. I wanted to, esp since I vaguely remember loving Slaughterhouse Five...but this went over my head with the symbolism (in which I think there might have been symbolism, but honestly I'm not sure...it could've just been weird for weird sake). Obv he was pointing out the inherent racism that never seems to end, whether it's when this book took place, or in the future, or in another world--for fuck's sake it just won't end. But when I would read certain paragraphs out loud just to point out how rambling this book was, I couldn't help but laugh at its absurdity and I'm pretty sure that wasn't its intent. I could be wrong. I honestly just don't know though.
