This was simply ok. I figured after the first few chapters that I wouldn’t love it. And that remained the case. Despite both characters being in their 30s, both came across immature.

The plus was the connection of previous characters to this story. I remember Mia and CoCo. So it was nice getting an update on them.

While my interest is slightly peaked to learn more about Maren- but right now I may need to take a break.

So not a horrible story, but definitely not my favorite from this author. Just meh 😏
