This is a (good?) rant review, so bear with me. I literally read the whole RK universe to enjoy this series to its fullest, so, I do have high expectations. I have hyped myself so much for this series that when the characters were introduced, I was jumping up and down (obv not literally, but you get that). This is a very incoherent review so....

I did not care much about Glyndon and Killian's story. It was kind of stupid, the whole Devlin plot-I didn't give a fuck the whole time. Also, who names their child Glyndon and Kill willingly? The nickname 'little rabbit' gave me an ick so bad and so did whenver kill called it 'deflowering' and his dick as 'libido' just ewww.

I didn't actively hate glyn but when she picked killian over, her own brother made me see red. I am never going to choose a random mf who I have known for a month or two over my sibling (even though I hate them). Family comes first, no matter what. That bitch literally criticized lan for the same traits that Killian has. I will never forget that.

I cried badly when Kilian confronted his parents while punching the shit out of Gareth. Asher and Reina failed as parents. The second gen has to have the best parents out there and then there are them. I hate them so much. Aiden cares about his adoptive son more than Asher did for Killian and it showed. His half-ass apology didn't mean shit to me. Saying that your child is defective and should not have been born is downright bad.

Let's come to my fav part of the book-the side characters, the banter and just random shit going here and there. It was so wholesome (?) to me. The king men were so funny. Jonathan being a girl grandad was everything. Being the only girl child in a family is such a privilege (I want that). Lan and Bran being protective of her was so cute. That 'never have I ever' game was so funny (ava being the freaky one was not on my list). NikoBran are my babies. I want their book now. And, I have a feeling that no. 89 was none other than our pretty lotus flower
