Shew. I don’t think there has ever been an instance where I haven’t read a CoHo book in one or two sittings. I felt like this book was beautifully written.
For one, I loved the dual POV in this book. I thought it brought such a different level of perspective to how both of them felt about their relationship. I also thought it was amazing how Ben and Fallon’s relationship was built so heavily simply on the one day a year that they would meet. They put so much trust in one another, just for Fallon to feel all of that trust stripped from under her, and then the manuscript that proved there was more to the story than she could comprehend.
This book so beautifully portrayed to me that forgiveness is something so sacred. Fallon had found it in her heart to forgive not only herself, but also Ben.
Easy, quick read. 5/5 for me.
