Scorch Dragons by Amie Kaufman

5.0

Personally, I liked this one, but I felt that the first had a bit more magic. Maybe it was just the newness element, but this could use a bit more a of a light tone. Granted, this does move the story along beautifully and BLESS my sweet cinnamon roll son, Anders, for stepping up to a bigger leadership role. I will say that all the people being introduced was confusing, but I loved all the people being introduced and the twists about who is who. Overall, a great book but it got a bit sad and a mite confusing. (READ THIS ONLY AFTER READING THE FIRST ONE RECENTLY.)
