I love these books, especially when they have a continuing thread from a previous book.

Clara Rinker is back and she's after revenge. She had escaped to Cancun where she started over with a new identity. She met a guy and fell in love and was expecting a baby. She was happy until one day someone tried to kill her.  A sniper shot at her and hit her lover instead.  She was wounded and lost her baby. Her lover just happened to be the son of a well known and feared drug lord. Heads were going to roll... Clara made some calls and had a list of names of people who wanted her dead. The FBI had to try to get to them before she did but their main goal was to catch her and stop her from killing more people. They decided to call in Lucas Davenport since he had helped them the last time. He also seemed to have luck on his side. Unfortunately, not everyone working the case would be so lucky.
