Truthfully, I was very torn about this book. I had seen it all over social media - some people loved it, loved Magnolia & BJ and the drama “will they won’t they” and some people didn’t. I really thought coming into it I was going to DNF because of the constant drama and back and forth of M & BJ but that drama and the “you love me, I love you but we’re toxic together” is what pulled me in and found that I kept wondering how the story was going to end (for Book 1).

I also loved Magnolia’s sister, Bridget. Her character, although not featured much, was such a breath of fresh air amongst all the drama. Also, the way she clocked BJ and his treatment of Magnolia after their breakup … stunning, iconic, amazing.

additional notes:
Tom England, you deserve better than Magnolia Parks
Magnolia you deserve SO MUCH BETTER than literally everyone (except Tom and Bridget, we love a supportive sister).
Magnolia and BJ go to therapy challenge !!
I genuinely can't wait to read the rest of the series, but I'm going to finish a few other titles before I dive into Book 2
