Do Taylor swift and Emily Henry have the same brain? This book is so Taylor coded.  This city screams your name. I can’t make it go away by making you a villain. She would’ve made such a lovely bride what a shame she’s fucked in the head.  I wouldn’t marry me either, a pathological people pleaser.  This book was very emotional and hot and sad and infuriating in the best ways.  Not only was the romance, or non romance, between Wynn and Harriet gripping but it was so realistically woven into every dynamic of their lives (friends, family, time, places, memories, etc).  This was my first Emily Henry that I got through so I was really biting my nails for Wynn and Harriet until the very end. Will they? Won’t they? I know so many women like Harriet who feel like they live to please and like their life is a triathlon and I loved reading a fmc who was realistic and interesting.  Amazingly done!
