I have not played very much SWTOR but this book works and reads as a stand alone. I was pleasantly surprised with this one as someone who doesn't always appreciate this era. The characters were well done (the main character was actually fairly interesting) and I was engaged the whole time.

4.5 star. Not bad at all.
