I really enjoyed all of the stories contained in this book, my favorites were definitely the Ilona Andrews and Nalini Singh stories. All of them touched on Hellhounds in a different way with them ranging from just being mentioned to being a full character side kick. I have never read from the world of 2 of the stories and that being said I didn't feel lost or like I needed to catch up, it was easy to slip into the world of all of the different stories.
