I was so disappointed by this book! The premise sounded so interesting but after finishing it, I feel like it explored the topic only on the surface level. I just constantly found myself getting frustrated with Olive, and I normally love flawed protagonists. Olive was just constantly judging other people’s life choices and thinking everyone was judging her’s. I understand that she is going through a crazy time in her life and that is the premise of the book, but her proclaimed self-awareness made it seem that she didn’t care about how her friends felt… I don’t know! The writing also felt very predictable, despite a lack of events really happening, and I found myself bored and rushing for most of the book. Yeah… I expected more unfortunately.
