The above quote is something I very relatable as a reader and I just thought it was beautiful to read. As readers, we read to escape the world around us and dive into another one, but do you ever get that feeling that youโll never read enough to have that feeling continuously?
ANYWAY! This was a very interesting novella within the Ryder Bay series and Jace is a very different character to all of the men weโve come across.
Jace is an adrenaline junkie who clearly doesnโt think things through and in the end, it only gets his best friend hurt. While reading everything from Jaceโs POV, I could understand why he was acting the way he was, but I think he was also capable of telling his mum how he felt and that things couldโve solved much easier and this whole situation couldโve been avoided. He definitely needs to grow up and I think his stay in Ryder Bay will help him mature.
I loved getting to see some emails from Lette because I was intrigued to see what was going on with her after reading her sisterโs story. I feel as though Lette is going to be relatable in numerous ways, and I just hope she doesnโt get her heartbroken when she learns who Jace actually is. She has such a kind heart and that was shown through the emails.
Iโm very very very excited to see how things play out!
