Stranger in the Lake by Kimberly Belle
2.0
My third audiobook and unfortunately, not one I’d recommend.
•
Charlotte married a (very) wealthy widower, Paul. His previous wife drowned in the lake behind their home years ago and rumors have been flying about him ever since. Charlotte finds another dead woman below their dock and calls the police. Paul is lying about knowing the girl and lying about his alibi. What else is he lying about? Turns out... quite a lot.

I had a really hard time with the narrator’s voice. I found it hard to get into the story and I found all of the characters unlikeable. I struggled to get to the ending of this one
