The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill

3.0

I absolutely loved the cover, it drew me in immediately. The synopsis was what made me buy the book, however, as interesting as the synopsis was, I felt the story itself a bit lacking. Over all it kept my interest but it felt like there was no real climax or any real danger. It wasn't as thrilling as I kept expecting it to be and missed the mark for me. I also didn't have much attachment to the characters. Over all the book had a great concept, and perhaps with a bit more time and pages it would have been great.
