Jinx by Meg Cabot
3.0

This is the first book of Meg Cabot that I read. I've seen the library shelves lined wide with her many books and was looking for a relatively non-supernatural/post-apocalyptic novel. Although this book does involve magic, the story is more about a teenage girl getting comfortable in her skin at odds with her competitive cousin. I found the main character, Jinx, pretty annoying slow on the uptake about way too many things, mostly ruining any love I could have for the novel. It is well written though and fun.
