I bought this series already knowing that I will love it. And it did not disappoint! (I mean, the pretty covers actually called out to me more and I just know that I had to buy them lol)

Anyway, I LOVED all the books. It was so good that this series is now one of my favorites. The world-building is superb and the characters are very lovable as well. Elise Kova wrote them vividly that I felt all emotions with them along the way. I literally  devoured this series. Like if only I didn't have to go to work, I would've finished this in less than a week.

The last book of this series is a satisfying conclusion and I don't feel like it was rushed at all. It was just what I expected—a beautiful ending to a magical and epic series and I'm just glad I picked this series up. I love how we saw Aldrik teaching Vhalla how to use her magic to him teaching her how to become an Empress. The respect and love they have for each other even after everything amazes me. They now hold a big piece of my heart. Most especially Fritz and Jax! I wan't to know more about them still.
I'm also so curious about Vi. I want to know if she's only a fire-bearer or has other magic/s too? Oh, and I know Vhalla sacrificed something to change her fate but I love that she didn't lose her powers.

The ending still left me wanting for more and I can definitely see myself buying the rest of the spin-off series. I tried to read this as slow as I can because I don't want it to end yet but I just can't get enough! It also left some questions and this made me look forward to reading the rest of the books.
