I have FINALLY finished this behemoth! It was a good book that paints a picture of a very different culture. I had some difficulties in the first part with some of the writing style, but eventually it picked up and the plot moved right along.
My inability to finish sooner had more to do with being busy and having to finish other book club selections first. I'm glad I did though. If he publishes a sequel I hope to read it.
