This is exactly what you want when you pick up a Joe Abercrombie book. Amazing characters and dialogue, some twists and turns, and always epic fight/battle scenes. A great follow up "stand alone" after reading the First Law Trilogy. If you love Abercrombie, then you will want to read this one!
