Tremendous romp exuberantly performed by Emilia Fox. Loved that the heroine was working class and an unashamed liar who set off for Baghdad because she had a fleeting encounter in London with a man she fancied.
Portayed Christie's view on the Middle East, which is one of affection and respect; also archaeologists are almost the heroes of this tale.
